A/C Surcharge

Due to extremely high local energy charges in excess of .45/KWH… there is an energy surcharge of $15/day for each of the A/C units. Please advise on booking if you require A/C. There are no surcharge fees if A/C is not used.

KettleStone was designed and built as our home with full awareness of these high energy charges. Incorporating high vaulted ceilings, ample ventilation and screened cupolas to capture the natural ocean breezes and provide natural air circulation…our goal was to eliminate the need for A/C as much as possible. In addition, all rooms have classic Hunter ceiling fans for increased circulation so you may not need A/C during your stay at all.

Car Rental

KettleStone provides complimentary use of a family minivan during your stay (fuel excluded). If you decide to rent a second vehicle during your vacation we will recommend one of our trusted local suppliers and make the booking for you. Our established contacts know our home and many will deliver your car straight to the villa or airport, so you can settle in without the hassle. Typical prices $80 per day.

Villa Pre-Stocking

Send us a list of your favorite foods and beverages and we'll have them waiting for you in the fridge when you arrive at the villa. If you wish to start your vacation with a snack or platter, we can easily have it arranged and waiting for your arrival. Typical prices $50 plus food costs.

Chef/Cook Services

Although our basic rental does not include the services of a cook or chef, we are happy to hire one for you. You can decide if you want just a special meal prepared for an occasion or normal daily meal preparation. The choice is yours. Many of our chef/cook contacts can provide you with planned menus well in advance of your arrival, thus ensuring sufficient time to have the kitchen stocked to your preferences. Chef rates variable but typically $100-200 depending on chefs credentials.

Massage Services

We do have professional massage services that can come directly to the villa by appointment. If you wish to pamper yourself or surprise a friend or loved one with a special treat we will be happy to book your massage session in advance.

Babysitter

Should you require a babysitter during you vacation we will recommend one of our preferred sitters and make the recommendation for you. Baby sitters will come to the villa.

Meet and Greet

Long before your arrival, we can assist you in arranging any of your villa requirements so they are ready and in place for you. All you need to do is ask. You will be met at the villa and be shown all the villa ins and outs, given important contact numbers and local information to assist you in having a seemless vacation experience.

Special Events

Have something to celebrate? Let is help you coordinate one-of-a-kind events such as birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions and more. Just let us know what you have in mind! We are also happy to suggest a wedding coordinator for those planning to host their special day at KettleStone.

Evening Attendant

If you require an evening attendant, then one can be arranged for you. Typically the rates are $15/hr (minimum 4 hours).

Housekeeping

4 hours daily provided complimentary. Additional housekeeping can be arranged at $15/hr.

"Daily HouseKeeping" deferred for purposes of privacy by agreement.

Although our rates include a compulsory 4 hours of housekeeping per day...you can have the option of deferring the housekeeping for privacy reasons until the end of your stay. Since this requires more intensive cleaning within a shorter period of time prior to new arrivals, a $250 surchange would apply.
